Mika Frankaite (b. 1973, Klaipėda, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian visual artist based in Vilnius. Mika Frankaite is a contemporary painter working primarily in oil on canvas. 

     Her artistic practice reflects a deep sensitivity to the nostalgia of the momentum, often capturing spaces just before they transform. She is best known for her poetic interpretation of everyday surroundings and her ability to evoke the quiet melancholy of passing time.

     In search of universal beauty, her visual language resonates with themes of nostalgia, solitude, while exploring the emotional depth of visual storytelling. Her artistic approach could be encapsulated in the sentiment: “I want you to see what I see.”
